"Mirror Images" is what I call my symmetrical visual creations. Somewhat like kaleidoscopes, these images are formed from a piece of a photo I have taken that is then repeatedly translated and rotated. Most of these photos originated as close up views of plants and objects, and I never know what the final picture will look like when I start. Part of the fun of these images is to recognize the original subject, because in each mirrored image, the kernel that I started with is still there in plain view. Can you guess what you re looking at?
